Liberia is the main city of the province of Guanacaste, Costa Rica with its approximately 300,000 inhabitants. Stands out for its beaches, volcanoes and hospitality of its inhabitants.
Its climate is hot and dry from november to may, and wet from late May to early November, with heavy rains in September and October. Has an average annual temperature of 27 ºC and the historical extremes are of 12.8 °C and 40.1 °C.
One of the main attractions of the area is the proximity to the beaches and mountains which have numerous hotels for all types of tourists and budgets.
Places like Golfo de Papagayo, National Park Rincón de la Vieja, National Park Santa Rosa, Playas del Coco, Playa Ocotal, Playa Tamarindo, Playa Panamá and others are of tourist great attraction and they offer a wide variety of activities to pass the day like Canopy, Diving, Surf, Horseback Riding, Fishing, Observe the flora and fauna or simply enjoy a good meal.
Also offers great quantity of services such as hospitals, private clinics, hotels, bus stations, supermarkets, public and private universities, rent to car, schools of languages, cinemas, offices of tourism, commercial centers, lawyers, offices of real estate, dentists, etc.
The opening of its International Airport has made that Liberia transforms into the main access from the tourism to the country and it has allowed that important airlines like American Airlines, Group Taca, Copa, Martinair and hotel franchises as Four Seasons, Hilton, Allegro Papagayo, Melia, Barceló has opened operations, the same for important companies of High Technology like Ad Astra Rocket and noted universities like Univeridad of Costa Rica, Universidad Nacional, Earth La Flor, among other.
